“We live in a very hard water area and we moved to a new house, so we thought we would get a water softener fitted as soon as possible before the pipes and equipment started to scale up. In the few weeks before the softener was fitted we noticed scale on the taps and shower. We also used lots of salt in the dishwasher. Within a few weeks of the softener being fitted we had clean taps and shower, and no longer needed salt in the dishwasher. We use much less soap for washing ourselves and in the washing machine. Certainly worth the investment.”
