Overly expensive
For the price we paid, the customer service from Cotswold Water Softener was extremely disappointing. We did not expect to constantly chase for updates and responses. We feel like this should not be the customer’s responsibility. The installation date was delayed, and after installation we encountered ongoing issues with the water testing. Despite us clearly explaining the situation in detail and strictly following the instructions provided, our concerns were repeatedly ignored. Instead of in
Generally good service with a quick response. Explained exactly how the system works. Only disappointment was, surveyor said soft water system will fit underneath the kitchen sink but when installer came to set up few days later it didn't. So it is installed outside my house! Wooden box to secure the machine was too big and no locking system either. But sorted after a month now. Overall, happy for now and hoping the soft water system will last for a long time without any issues!!
Havent decided yet so haven't had anything fitted. However Harveys seem good

Both the salesman and the engineer were excellent. Simon, the engineer had to fit the system outside in biblical weather.

The workmanship associated with the plumbing was exceptional.
Confusing management, subsidiary and agent set up, not to mention the complications of models and specification.

I was promised to get 100 pound discount off the bill and two bags of ten curved salt as compliment gift, but those never came through and the agent is non-responsive

Found them extremely expensive! There softener only takes there own design of salt, the engineer who installed ours said we would get a device to monitor the salt level but are still waiting! Would I recommend them? No I would not.

I am pleased with my softener, the way it looks and fits. They did tell me the salt would take a fortnight to get into the system. It has taken longer than that, despite my filling the bath to the top every day as I live alone. So my shower was cold for 2 weeks...awful when washing my hair!. Better now I have had a lot of visitors and more water going through the system.
harveys are scammers
Good informative advice given from the moment I made contact with Harvey's. There was NO pressure for me to purchase any product, all of my questions were answered. Through out our conversations I felt that this was the best product suited to my needs.

Was not pleased with instalation time fitter didn't arrive till 4.30 drilled hole inback wall went home said he would be back next day arrived 3.30 fitted softener said he didn't have time to put shelve back in cupboard would come back ion 21st Oct to cut shelve and put back told him I couldn't go 2 weeks with all my saucepans and everything on the worktops for 3 weeks so he did cut the shelf out and put it back but said he had to come back in 3 weeks and film the holes in the wall as he didn't
ABOLiCALl it took weeks and several phone calls getting passed from pillar to post but on going issues still NOT resolved. Eventually 2 lady customer service advisors fulfilled there role and got an engineer out and this didn’t got to perfectly. Water Softener tablets that I was promised months ago I am still waiting for! Product and service nowhere near my previous softener.

I am currently supplied with PDV tablets for my water softener, where previously it was always what I would describe as 'shingle' type. I am assuming the tablets are OK
The person who installed it was very efficient, professional and helpful.

I like the product but the fitter didn't check my water pressure and the first one they fitted leaked and I had to have it replaced in under a month

It was a tricky installation due to shortage of space but seems to have been done very competently. Pleased with the improvements to the product as well with the smaller salt blocks and WiFi to aid better and easier salt refilling.
The result is immediately, don't need to wait till, this or that. My wife son and daughter had problems with hair loss, dry skin and irritation on the scalp, also the problem with the Liam scale. The same day the water softener was install there was an immediately change. Totally recommend this product. 100%

I asked for an engineer to come and measure up as had a softener in my previous home. But it was a huge sell for add on’s. So annoying
Took a little while to attend to the issue but was excellent when he arrived and fixed the problem quickly
they gave me av faulty machine and took them 6 months to correct it

Have had a number of Harvey’s softeners over the years and they have probably lasted at least 15 years each.

I've been using Harvey for three years. It's a lease so I contacted Customer service in July what would the price be if I buy it, I had three different people called me about this but none of them got back to me what the price will be if I buy the one I currently have. Crazy!!!

All round great experience, from demonstration to installation, communication was great, product quality exceeded my expectations on the demonstration, guys I dealt with were friendly, knew their products, very informative and not pushy ! I can’t honestly say a bad word about them
Just had my water softener installed from Harveys it makes a lot of difference from the hard water.
I have never had to call the customer service. The product is amazing.
The initial demonstration by Richard Goring was excellent.
Expensive but you get what you pay for ,we have limited space and no electricity available, so far very happy from start to finish to finished job ,buy locally family business are the best
