Companies like this should not be operating in the UK. Caused a massive leak over 2 floors due to cheap faulty materials used, were completely unresponsive when alerted and let it drag on for almost a year. AVOID

Customer service is terrible, the speed of service even worse. Had to wait for softener to be installed for a month and then they cancelled it. I am still waiting another month for someone to show up.

Salt needs adding approximately every 6weeks for two people. Call out charges very high. Our Harvey’s water softener is almost 10 years old. Viewed buying a replacement, thought having all the plumbing in place we would only need a new unit installed. Price quoted for all new parts, etc as if the water softener was being installed for the first time. Would only recommend Harveys with the above advice.

Service was excellent clean and tidy, would definitely recommend.
Excellent quality service, and in total control of the order and delivery, which was on time and fitted by a very skillful plumber. Super company and very helpful. Can even check salt levels via WiFi on my phone
First install appointment cancelled. Second appointment re-scheduled for 12.30 - 2.30. The engineer arrived 9.30 a.m. Also day before I was working and was sent a message asking where the machine was going and to send photos. Was unable to do this until I arrived home. Prior to sending got another message chasing for reply.

On a monthly contract pasted 4 years paying to much rip off, I should have paid it on credit card would have been finished long ago looking for a new supplier will change
First class installation only complaint it is not clear where to buy new salt blocks from. We spent £30 buying the wrong ones from Amazon.
Overall, a smooth process from order to installation.

It was disappointing not to receive any follow up call from the customer care. Also, the salt that was sent via post half it was damaged.

I only saw a Salesman who spent a couple of hours showing me that their water softener makes water sfter. Then he gave a price, this was on Saturday, I told him I would not be rushed & would consider it over the following week. I would like to thank the company and Dave Naylor their representative for their quick response after our installation was cancelled initially due to the engineer being unwell. Spoke to Dave Naylor about the problem and to cut a long story short,an engineer Tommy arrived in the afternoon to fit the water softener, he was both courteous and very efficient

I purchased a Harveys water softener and it exceeds my expectations
Water softener consists of three separate units which take up far more space than the competition; Heath Robinson contraption design. Competed installation for most users will take up more space than expected. Salt utilisation is high and therefore expensive to run. A sales representative actually talks you into buying the unit and on a sale is paid a commission by Harvey's thereby needlessly increasing the cost.
The design is poor comparable to a Heath Robinson contraption. Overpriced. Salt consumption is very high. Intermediary sales force are paid commission on sales which needlessly increases the cost of the three part contraption which is not disclosed or advertised in advance.
Fully understood our needs and provided and fitted in less than a week
Sales person provided detailed explanation on how the system worked, its pros and cons. The installer was tidy and efficient, excellent quality. Went above and beyond by pointing out existing issue with waste pipe, making blockages more likely, nothing to do with softener installation, very helpful.
I was try to order the water softener for my home, they promised to get back to me with quotation and installation time, however there is no one ring back and following up with no reason.
Good service but had to ring twice to get any help with the app not working but was resolved in the end. The water softener does exactly as it says brilliant bit of kit

Harveys have no customer service hence the low marks. I would advise anyone to find another provider.
A frictionless process to install a water softener. It’s silent, zero maintenance and very very low running costs (just the salt & I’m getting one 6 weeks out of 2 blocks). The difference it makes is amazing, no more limescale/frequent cleaning, less detergent use, longer lasting washing machine/diswashers and weirdly, it feels better when you shower. Highly recommended.
Previously had waterways give a quote but the installer made a song and dance as it was in a flat. After 6 months I tried again as the water was too hard. Harvey’s installer came , said there were couple of options & we settled for the best. Within 3 hours all up and running and clean.

We have had our softener for 8 years and latterly found it was using to many salt blocks when I made enquiries with Harvey they told me I would have to have it looked at by a water softener company. That is not what I expected from the supplier of such a well known water softener supplier
I didn't even received a quote. I had to cancel the free visit because they were too delayed. Second visit they didn't even show up.
