They did not explain crucial things like need for adequate WiFi signal to monitor the performance of the softener by the myharvry app. The technical assistance failed to explain to us in simple terms why the smart device is not working. No manual for the softener was provided. The installer ignored our request to keep the water stopcock in an accessible location. We are left to sort out the problem”

“Having done my share of plumbing I am particularly fussy about installation. This particular example was faultless - I was impressed. The installation was actually brought forward from the originally agreed date which was a pleasing bonus. The option to use 12 months interest free credit (which I was not expecting at the outset) made the decision to go ahead easier than ever.”

Just one issue - the fitter put white silicon sealer where the box butts up to our outside wall - the box is brown and wasn't sealed around the bottom or down the sides. My husband called the customer services line, and basically got nowhere at all with having this rectified. Given the standard of the installation it was a big let down from Harveys. The installer however, was very good indeed, despite not having a dark brown silicon sealant on board. ”

“Although difficult installation, we were kept informed and all aspects of the fit were discussed. Remedial work was required to repair our wall after the installation was completed, and this was done quickly and neatly, removing any evidence of the the original installation.”

“We were booked in for a fitting and 2 weeks before we were called and asked if they could install in half an hour's time. We agreed to this and our installer was very helpful and friendly. However because he was called in last minute he had the wrong gear which he assured us would be replaced soon. We are still waiting”

When the plumber came, he had difficulty in finding the main supply and the main stopcock to the house. After finding the stopcock, it was felt that it would be difficult to install it without drilling through a newly refurbished walls and cupboards. Even had to lift the newly fitted carpet to see if the pipes can run between the floors but that”

“Everything was carried out with the very little disruption. The only slight down side was the water softener unit had to be fitted sideways in the cupboard under the sink so we lost quite a lot of storage space, it makes replacing the salt a little awkward as well especially trying to put the cover back on with pipes so close.”

I understand this is how my system works, but I feel with their expertise they could`ve guided me on how this could be changed or be different. It took about 3 hours to complete the work with 2 guys, one was installing and an assessor assessing the plumbing work - the job was immaculately done. I would definitely give them 5/5 for quality because they put an outside tap in for us which was done carefully and neatly. The existing pipe work also re-sited back into the cupboard, meaning we didn`t lose any space for having the water softener. I looked at the two companies offered and Harvey`s although more expensive was on balance the better option. It has been 3 months and i have no correspondence from Harvey`s since, no invoice, no apology, I am taking action to claim back expenses for damage to the property. All this being said I would still recommend Harvey`s as hes aware this was an accident and was fixed promptly.”

“Just had 1 issue they included to put in a diverted tap - but they have located the taps in a place where they were hard to reach, Once bringing this to Harvey`s attention they came back and moved the taps and gave them a tool to make it easier for them to turn them on and off.”
